LAND USE & ZONE CHANGES

As part of the updates to the South & Southeast LA Community Plans, the land use and/or zoning of certain parcels are proposed to be changed. The Community Plans include a map of land use designations in the CPAs. Land use designations establish the general location and intensity of different uses of land, such as residential, commercial, industrial and open space.  Each land use designation has a list of corresponding zones. Under the Proposed Plans, the majority of land use designations in the CPAs would remain unchanged. In certain areas, the land use designation and/or zoning is proposed to be changed. The different types of changes are described below.
